How do I order?

You can order online or, if you prefer, you can telephone us during our office hours, which are Tuesday – Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm Saturday, 9.00am to 12.00pm. Our telephone number is 01844 208261. You can also fax an order to this number.

Will you confirm my order?

If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order.

How do I pay?

You can pay online for your order using Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo and American Express. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation.

How do you protect my payment card details online?

We use Sage Pay payment service for the secure transfer and processing of credit/debit card information.

When you proceed to make your purchase, your browser makes a connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection.

Sage Pay encrypt all credit or debit card information and authorise payment directly. No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed. This is why you need to enter your card details each time you order.

Can I pay over the phone?

If you prefer, you can telephone us during our office hours to place your order and quote your payment card details over the phone. Your payment card will still be subject to validation checks and authorisation.

How secure is your website?

We want you to be able to purchase items from our website with complete confidence. Your communication to our website uses the latest Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to ensure that your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel across the internet. When you proceed to make your purchase, your browser makes a connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection.

Do you offer a gift-wrapping service?

We offer a complimentary gift-wrapping service on all our products. Please tick the Gift-Wrapping option on the checkout page if you would like your item(s) gift-wrapped.

When will my order be sent?

Orders are normally despatched within two working days of receipt of the order. Please allow 5 working days for delivery.

For express or next-day delivery please contact us for delivery charges.

How much is delivery and where do you deliver to?

Our standard charge for mainland UK delivery is £4.00. (Unfortunately this standard charge excludes the Scottish Highlands and some other parts of north Scotland. Please contact us for a quote for delivery charges to these areas.)

Please ensure that we are given a full and correct address with postcode. We regret we are unable to deliver to a PO Box Number.

For deliveries to Southern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man please contact us for delivery charges and availability.

For overseas delivery please contact us for a quotation for overseas delivery and handling charges. Some overseas orders may be subject to local import duties and we will not be liable for these payments.

Can I return goods if I am not satisfied?

We believe you will be delighted with your purchase from Velvet Brown; however we do understand that there may be occasions when you wish to return an item. If you are unhappy with a product for any reason please contact us immediately.

We will arrange to exchange or refund the purchase price of the goods once they are returned in perfect condition, unused and with their original packaging. We will require you to pay for the return postage of any items being returned and, for your own protection, we recommend you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery.

The above terms do not affect your Statutory Rights. English Law applies to all purchases.

How frequently does your product range change?

How do I complain?

We hope not to give you any cause to complain, however if you have any complaints with our services or products please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to rectify the situation for you.
